Volunteer Roles

Logistics and operational support

Events Assistant: Setting Up & Taking Down Equipment / Decorating & Dressing The Event Space

Volunteer Co-ordinators/Team Leaders: (Rovers): Managing Volunteers (in shifts)

Drivers/Transport Liaisons: Helping with logistics for equipment & goods. Moving equipment from our storage facility to the Event Venue

First Aiders

Front of house / visitor services

Meet and Greet Personnel: Welcoming Visitors, providing information, checking tickets, and counting visitors

Stewards/Marshals: Guiding crowds, ensuring safety, assisting with traffic/parking, providing general assistance to visitors

Information Point Staff: Answering questions and helping with directions

Fundraising & Promotional Roles

Bucket Collectors: Collecting Donations during events

Event Marketers/Promoters: Distributing marketing materials / running promotional stalls

Raffle Manager & Assistants: Organising and Distributing Raffle Prizes and selling tickets at the event

Sales Assistants: For Stalls/Bars/Paid Activities (eg Bouncy Castle)

Specialised & Technical Roles

Photographers/Videographers: Capturing photos or video content for social media and promotion

Technical Support: Managing event-specific technology or equipment. Eg Sound/PA equipment. A/V & Projector etc.
