In this workshop you’ll learn the basics of Needle Felting and create your own pet Seal! Needle felting uses a barbed needle to form fleece into sculptural shapes.
The fleece we are using is from sheep on the Manish Croft in Isle of Harris, Outer Hebridies.
When you have learnt the basics you can sculpt anything with fleece, the only limit is your imagination and time
In this workshop you’ll be shown how to make a needle felt seal.
Once we have made the basic shape we will learn how to add features such as eyes and whiskers and maybe a Harris tweed scarf!
We’ll be taking our time so you can enjoy crafting in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere.
